As a busy mum of two, with a thriving online support group and business Amy's life appears to look rosy on the outside, however she experienced some difficult times, almost at breaking point in your relationship.
She tells us where she sought support, and at what point she took back control & how she did it.
Amy shares what she has learnt so far on her journey, and how it led her to her new career as a Mindset and Self-Care Coach
Amy set up The Teapot in April 2017, a year after her husband was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, at age 43. She saw there was a growing need for a positive, UK specific support group for women whose partners have Asperger’s Syndrome.
The Teapot was initially launched as a Facebook support forum and it has now grown to offer online courses, meet ups and retreat days. Amy has recently graduated as a life coach and works with Aspies’ wives to support them in “refilling their cup”.
She also runs workshops and speaks at local events and she aspires to speak alongside Tony Atwood, the world authority on Asperger’s Syndrome, and at the National Autistic Society annual conference, in the near future.
