'The better you know yourself, the better your relationship with the rest of the world'

- Toni Collette

The first and most important relationship is the one with ourselves. Our past experiences have shaped the person we are now. But that doesn't mean that defines us, and it doesn't mean we can't ditch those habits or negative beliefs that really don't work anymore.

By having a deeper understanding of ourselves, we are more able to create much better relationships with others in our world, whether personal, romantic, or professional.

My guests come from varied backgrounds and share their stories and experiences. Maybe similar to yours, or giving you a different perspective.

So why not sit down, grab a cuppa and choose one of the episodes to listen to.

My name is Julie Cullen and my mission is to help ambitious women get over their fears and self-doubts so they can achieve their dream career and future, and I do this through my coaching programs and personal development workshops.

We all struggle with lack of confidence at some time or another. That’s  when the voice of words of self-doubt arise in their head as their: inner critic, monkey, chimp, gremlin etc – all of which sound mischievous or scary, something to be avoided or silenced. I prefer to think of that voice as my friend in need. Someone who need a hug and reassurance that everything will be ok.

Next time you hear that voice of self-doubt, listen to her and then reassure her that everything will be ok – after all, isn’t that what you would do for a friend or a child who was having doubts? Learn to be that friend to yourself.

Julie Cullen

I help people transform their careers and I have had lots of personal experience transforming my own career. I have worked in technical roles, leadership positions, client relationship management and sales roles and am now in coaching and personal development.

I have spent over 25 years growing my career and transforming myself when I was ready for change. Sometimes that change was driven by a desire to try something new, sometimes feeling in a rut and needing to stretch myself, and occasionally becoming dissatisfied, unfulfilled and ready to move on.

Change is not always easy and the best piece of advice I can give you, based on my experience, is to embrace the fear, get yourself lots of support and go for it. I have had so many amazing experiences because I choose not to stand still. You also can have a meaningful and enjoyable career if you are willing to open yourself up to change and explore new opportunities.

I believe that everyone should find happiness in their career and that we all have it in us to create the career of our dreams. And this is what I want to help you to do if you are ready to Transform Your Career into a successful career you love.
