The first and most important relationship is the one with ourselves. Our past experiences have shaped the person we are now. But that doesn't mean that defines us, and it doesn't mean we can't ditch those habits or negative beliefs that really don't work anymore.

By having a deeper understanding of ourselves, we are more able to create much better relationships with others in our world, whether personal, romantic, or professional.

My guests come from varied backgrounds and share their stories and experiences. Maybe similar to yours, or giving you a different perspective.

LOVE - being caring, kind and considerate to ourselves and others

LISTEN - with compassion and respect to ourselves and others, giving our full attention, even if we don't share the same opinion as others. They are just that - opinions. 

TALK  - keeping communication open and honest. Sharing our concerns and worries with trustworthy others..........and finally

REPEAT the above

We each experience the world in different ways, which are coloured by past events or by situations. Some relating to our childhood or from past events.  At other times we may have a physical or emotional disability that means we have more hurdles to negotiate. These form us as individuals and the way we make sense of our world and how we function within it.

There are times when we hit a speed bump that causes us to take a tumble, leaving us with issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, mental health issues,  relationship problems, such as misunderstandings, conflict, arguments and even complete breakdown in communication.

This podcast explores some of those situations, and look at ways of dealing with them in a positive way. Sometimes chatting with guests and at others sharing my thoughts alone.
